A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the separate provider that supplies those results. Knoxville Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search entries. When you send a message, we receive the information in that message and use it to respond.

Hosting systems may create ordinary logs, including IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools.
How Technical Data Is Used
The limited data supports operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and improvements to the reference pages. We do not sell lists of visitors or construct individual visitor profiles.

Because this service keeps very little visitor data, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and operational logs and removing what is found. Use the Contact page to request that review. Records held by Tennessee, Knox County, or Knoxville custodians are outside our control, and correction or removal requests for them belong with the responsible office.
